I spent Spring Break with my friend Daneka in Nice, France. We stayed at a hostel called the Villa Saint-Exupery (which turned out to employ a large amount of Australians) and traveled by train to nearby cities during the week including Antibes, Cannes, and Eze Village.
Our first room (we were moved into a smaller room later in the week) had 9 beds just for the two of us and was called the Oscar-Claude Monet room :)

Found a delicious crepe restaurant to have some dessert (we went back another day for some savory crepes!):
Yummy hot cider!
Amazing crepes!—butter and cinnamon sugar

New friend Aviva on the left—found a fellow Northwester! Lives in Portland and works at Andina! Small world! We began talking because she is wearing the same dress that I own :)

Antibes:

Only one good picture from Cannes...it was pretty cold at this point! But we found a restaurant and enjoyed a bottle of wine with our friends as we looked out on the Cannes beach.
Another day trip to Eze Village and its Cactus Garden—it was the most beautiful day!
Our train ride home...not too thrilled
