A couple weeks ago, I went on a school-lead trip to Paris, France. I absolutely loved this city! We arrived late Thursday night and had two full days—Friday and Saturday—and a partial day—Sunday. On Friday morning I went with my roommate Suzy and her friends to the Eiffel Tower and then we made our way to the Louvre for an afternoon tour led by our professor, Rab Hatfield. On the way to the Louvre, we crossed the Champ d'Elysee, went to the first Chanel and to Longchamp, got baguettes, and ate in the Tuileries.

The professor we traveled with, Rab Hatfield, is an expert art historian on Leonardo da Vinci—it was so awesome to get to go through the museum with him and hear his opinion of the art. This was his last Syracuse trip to Paris as he is retiring after this semester.

Skidmore Friends! I went to Paris with Hilary and we met up with Katy, my sophomore year roommate from Eugene and our friend Molly, who were finishing up their Spring Break in Paris before returning to their semester abroad in Copenhagen

Eiffel Tower at night!—it sparkles on the hour (this is 11 pm)
On Saturday we took a trip to Chartres to see the Cathedral and to Versailles.
The town of Chartres was so cute! Hilary and I ate delicious crepes for lunch (and I also had French Onion Soup)
Chartres Cathedral
Beautiful Medieval Stained Glass inside the Cathedral
A huge clock on the outside of the Cathedral
Versailles—we spent some time inside but it was so crowded with people! We preferred spending time in the amazing Versailles gardens
Hall of Mirrors
Queen's bed (?)...I didn't pay much attention because of the amount of people surrounding me

Poster in the Paris Subway! I still don't quite know what it is for, but it sounds like it is a festival celebrating how awesome Portland is :)
We went to Fondu for dinner! So much fun! This place was just two long tables on either side of the restaurant and people had to climb over the entire table to get on the inside of the booth. We were served cheese and meat fondu and were also provided wine in baby bottles, yup!—definitely the best way to enjoy a glass!
Hilary stirring the cheese fondu
Meat—did not eat that...only a tiny piece just to taste!
Musee D'Orsay—my new favorite museum! It was so incredible! I wish I could have spent the entire day there!
Statues outside the d'Orsay
The Monet Museum!
And of course I need a picture there!
